What the Enquirer is calling a "confidential investigation" has turned up witnesses to verify their claims. The story dates back to 2004 when Vera Baker worked to get Obama elected to the Senate. She was responsible in raising millions in campaign funds.
The plot thickens with the Enquirer reporting that top anti -Obama operatives are now offering hush money to the witnesses of up to 1 million dollars so they do not come forth with the information that they know.
One such witness is a limo driver who took Vera Baker to a secret hotel to meet Obama for a rendezvous. A reporter from the Enquirer has confirmed the limo driver's account of the 2004 Obama - Baker rendezvous.
Apparently this has been an issue before because the report goes on to say that Baker has denied these accusations in the past saying nothing has gone on between her and then Senate hopeful Obama.
The Astute Blogger reports that Michele Obama found out about Barrack and Vera's affair and Vera was shipped off to Martinique. At the time, she continued on the payroll of a Chicago Municipal in what they are calling a "No Show Job".
The Enquirer was correct about their John Edward's report and if they are right again, Obama would not be the first politician to have an affair.

This story probably doesn't hold much weight. It's rehashed old news. Besides, the John Edwards and Tiger Woods stories were found to be true through investigative journalism and the Enquirer's reporters. This story is from an anonymous source who knows an anonymous limo driver whose story and been corroborated by other anonymous people. This is how urban legends form. It could be a true story, but it doesn't seem as believable as the stories the Enquirer presents when they actually have the goods on them.
What's funny is this would be a CNN, MSNBC breaking news story and now that the Enquirer has pinned down a source... to funny.
Not the limo driver as this has more legs than a 1999' bottle of Eagle.
Please, this President was meant for the Europian tabloids as a leader, not the LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD FOLKS!
Wow! this is quite a shocker! If true, another clean cut appearing guy fallen prey to this indiscretion within the year (Tiger, Tiki, and Obama). Its especially sad since he is our president. Hope it isn't true but Enquirer nailed the last one.
There are worse things that Obama has done. I hope they come out some day, as well!

No other country has to move a finger to disgrace America. America does this so well on it's own. We disgrace our nations president by broadcasting indiscretions worldwide. While I do Not condone affairs by no mean, I do think we need to be a little more aware of what we broadcast!
