Vera Wang Princess Foamy Body Polish: Product Review

Vera Wang is a house hold name when it comes to couture, but what she's best known for are her wedding gowns. So when I found out she had a fragrance line that included a body wash, I was surprised. Many designers have done the same long before she had but I've found that it's been either a hit or miss. One day I went cruising the mall and went to some major department stores because I heard they were giving away beauty and cosmetic products. I picked up a few items and one of those items was Vera Wang's Princess foamy body polish.

My Experience
Pros

This has got to be one of the most luxurious body washes I've ever used before. I've yet to find any bath product that works as well. I love the smell of Vera Wang's Princess foamy body polish. It smells just like her Princess perfume, which is a feminine musky scent There wasn't much floral or citrus that I could smell. The packaging was nice too. It came in it's only box that matches the body polish bottle exactly. I like that it's exfoliating and creates a lot of lather with only a small amount of product. I was able to get myself fully cleaned with just a dime size amount of body polish. I love the way it left my skin feeling clean, moisturized, soft and so smooth. The moisture lasts most of the day and the scent, although tone down, lingers for most of the day as well.

Cons

There were a few things that I didn't like about Vera Wang's Princess Foamy body polish too. The first thing is the price, $15 isn't much but it's a lot to spend on a 5 oz. bottle of body wash. Although the scent was pleasant it can get very strong in the shower. I'm not sure what it is, maybe it's the heat or the water that makes the scent stronger. The last thing is that Vera Wang's foamy body polish can only be found in certain stores. The easiest places to find this product is at major department stores like Macy's, Dillard's and JCPenney.

Verdict

Vera Wang's Foamy body polish is no doubt a great body wash. Not only does it moisturize, cleans and softens the skin but it exfoliates. The price makes it less desirable to me though, but it might not be a problem for other people so I would recommend it.
