Verafast hires people across the country to work from their home as customer service agents or verifiers. They have a number of different projects that you will work on most of them will involve making calls to customers and verifying service and offering additional service or conducting market research. Some jobs could involve simply verifying that the customer received their service and notating any problems, some projects involve telemarketing, and some are market research type calls. For most projects, there will be some sort of upsell that you will need to try and get the customer to either sign up for or try free for a period of time.
You will need to be comfortable doing this type of work. It's not for everybody. The pay is based on a credit system. You do receive money as your pay but it's sort of a commission type of pay. The average per hour seems to be between $8-10 an hour, with some people able to make more per hour on average. Most of how much you get paid depends on what areas of the country you call and what kinds of calls you are making. You get bonuses for signing people up for different services. The hours are pretty flexible, you choose when you work. Pay is every week and sent via regular mail.
The company will set you up on a dialer system for your computer and phone so you can make calls. Instructions are given on how to hook the system up with your computer. You will be dialing calls but some calls will come into your phone line, depending on the project. You should have a separate phone line with no call waiting. You will need a reliable computer with at least 250 MB RAM, 20 GB of hard drive, a reliable anti-virus program, high-speed Internet, no cell phones, and a quiet working environment is mandatory. Some customer service or telemarketing experience is helpful but not required.
This work at home job with Verafast is not for everyone, some people say they have to work at lot of hours to make an average of $10 an hour or $200 a week, others can make $200 a week with less hours, so it all depends on individual experience. Also, there are people who don't like selling. When seeking a work from home job, you will have to apply for a number of different jobs and see which one or ones work for you. Just because one job doesn't work for someone doesn't mean it won't work for you.
