Verizon: The IPHone 4.

Verizon: The IPHone 4.
On February tenth, 2011, Verizon Wireless will release..... the iPhone 4. After years of rumors, speculation, and begging, the iPhone has finally become a reality for thousands of Verizon customers that remained loyal even though the iPhone was exclusively contracted out to AT&T. Well, Verizon Wireless iPhone fans, your wait is nearly over.
The iPhone will be available to anyone as of February 10th, 2011, but Verizon's current customers can pre-order the iPhone from a limited supply as of February third. For more information on how to pre-order your new Verizon iPhone, just visit www.verizonwireless.com and sign up for the email updates. They will be in contact with you as more information becomes available.

The iPhone 4 features video calling, high resolution display, multi-tasking apps, and HD video recording and editing. You will also find a five megapixel camera on board, iBooks, iMovies, a navigation system, email, browser, and many other possibilities are included on this popular phone. Oh, yeah - it's a phone, too! You can actually text and call people from this stunning piece of technology. And where would an iPhone be, without its fabulous iPhone apps?

Now for the iPhone drama. Verizon, of course, is building their 4G network. Unfortunately, the iPhone 4 only works with 3G. So this sleek no phone will have a somewhat bulkier, slower network to work from. And let's not forget that this is Verizon we are talking about - a company who is known for limiting third party apps in order to promote it's own. On top of it all, Apple is looking to release the iPhone 5 this summer, and do you really want to buy technology that is already being replaced so quickly?

The iPhone 4 will be available to purchase with a two year contract for $199 for the 16 gig version, and a mere $299 for the 32 meg iPhone 4 version. It's too soon to tell if you can actually use your Verizon Wireless Renewal credit money to buy a new phone. Just keep checking www.verizonwireless for information.

Personally, I am very excited that Verizon Wirelessis now going to be selling the iPhone. I think it's a great phone and I love it. But I am still unsure if that is the right phone for me. I am worried about the expense, the size and if its pretty fragile or not. And I may miss the iPhone boat while waiting on my Verizon renewal period to be up in order to purchase a new phone of any kind. Regardless, whatever new phone I purchase, it must have a version of Mickey Mouse Club House or my son will be completely lost. As much as I am looking at an iPhone 4, I am also looking at a Droid. I'm not sure which I'll choose, but hopefully it will be even better that the phone I already have.
