AT&T customers have recently complained about the EDGE service which seemed to be down because of the hundreds of iPhone users that seems to be tapping on AT&T's EDGE service. Verizon, in it's press release, prides itself for it's network and even goes to say that, "A mobile phone is only as good as the network it is on". According to Verizon's press release, the company invested $37 billion in the past seven years to increase its network capacity, coverage and add new services. Verizon Wireless even goes to say, "While some carriers may boast that their handsets are sleek, investigating the type of network the phone runs on is crucial before purchasing any device."
