Verizon UTStarcom Blitz

I recently got this phone because I am an avid texter, I text all day and night, no matter what. I could be driving down Interstate 95 ( this is not safe, and it should not be done, and come October of this year it will be illegal to text and drive in Maryland) and texting, or sitting in the house texting while at my computer chatting on AIM! It doesn't matter where I'm at or what I'm doing I'm always texting. This phone makes it easy to type fast replies to my friends, boyfriend, and even my mom (yes you read that right, I taught my mom how to text message, lol, she's one of the few 50 something year old people that I know that can text message)!

This phone is NOT a smartphone, so if that's what you want then this phone is not for you!

I have to come to a conclusion that I have a love/ hate relationship with this phone.

Lets start with the things I love about this phone, as there are more pluses than negatives!

1. The screen is HUGE compared to my old phone (LG Chocolate)!
2. The color of this phone fits me so much better than the burgundy of my LG Chocolate!
3. Its got great battery power/ standby time
4. Its got a built in music player
5. you can make your own ringtones by recording things and then texting it to yourself, then save the recording as a ringtone!
6. I love the QWERTY Keyboard (its a texter's phone all the way)
7. I love that it has a camera (it could be better pixel wise but its ok, it works when you want it too)
8. It has Voice Command
9. It has a Micro SD slot

Now on to the things I dislike about this phone ...

1. It does not have video capabilities
2. It does not fully lock the keys, you can still dial numbers accidentally

That's really about it when it comes to this phone...

It's a decent phone especially since I got for free with a new 2 year contract!
So I can't complain!

It's a good phone for a teen or a tween, I like it even though I'm no longer a teen or a tween! So they'll probably love it!
