Verizon Wireless Offers the LG Chocolate and a Limited Edition Dooney & Bourke Mobile Phone Wristlet

Verizon Wireless, the biggest Wireless company in the US, announced that the Chocolate by LG is back with two new colors. LG Chocolate comes in traditional black, with two new colors, Black Cherry and Blue Mint, and will be available only at Verizon Wireless stores starting July 9.

Although it's no iPhone killer, the LG chocolate has made a buzz of its own during the first time it was launched in the US a few years back. And now it's back and sleeker than ever.

LG, a company well known in consumer electronics, and is slowly making a mark in the mobile phone industry has introduced some new features on the Chocolate which includes a phone pad that vibrates, and a new navigation wheel. Other features also includes a microSD slot that can hold up to 4GB card, a music player that can play MP3s and WMA formats, video player which can play MP4, 3GP, or 3G2 formats, 1.3 megapixel camera that can support video recording, Bluetooth, Voice Command, can support Mobile Web 2.0 for web-based e-mail, instant messaging and chat. The battery can last up to 250 minutes of talk time or 350 hours when the phone is not in use.

The LG Chocolate weighs 3.24 oz and has a dimension of 3.85 x 1.87 x 0.67. It is a slider phone with a very easy to use wheel that allows you to navigate the phone's menus easily. Since the LG Chocolate will be running on Verizon's network, it supports most of Verizons V-Cast services like downloadable applications like the VZ Navigator which provides you with directions for popular places throughout the United States or the V-Cast video which lets you stream video clips through your phone.

According to Verizon, the LG Chocolate will be available in Verizon Wireless stores nationwide for $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate when you get a new 2 year contract.
