Vintage Batman Figures Still Popular Among Fans

With the Dark Knight still garnering attention from fans of all ages, what better way to make your children happy this Christmas than by giving them high quality vintage Batman action figures. These figures can be found very cheap at online websites such as www.eBay.com. Unfortunately, Batman action figures these days are made up of cheap plastic and break easily, but are still worth buying since they are very detailed. The Kenner line of Batman figures that were released from 1989 to 1992 are considered to be one of the best lines of all time. Take the Batman Animated Series action figures for example, not only were they accurate from the animated counterparts, but came with an abundant amount of accessories. On eBay, these figures can range from four to twelve dollars depending which character you get. The twelve dollar figures include the illusive Harley Quinn, Combat Belt Batman, The Penguin, and the Mad Hatter. Even though the Combat Belt Batman is a little bit of the expensive side, there are at least twelve different variants of Batman figures that sell for up to five dollars a piece.

Another affordable line of Batman figures developed by Kenner would be Tim Burton's Batman movie figures. These figures were first released twenty years ago and are considered to be of very high quality among Batman fans. Unlike today's Batman figures, the facial molds on these figures are of Michael Keaton's. He played the original gritty styled Batman nearly twenty years ago. On both www.eBay.com and www.amazon.com, you can find these figures at around six to eight dollars. I recommend on buying the Batman figures with Keaton's Batman on the card because they may eventually become a collector's item some day. My personal favorite as a child was the Shadow Wing Batman figure because it had the ability to spread his cape like he did in the movies. Unfortunately, I do not own any of these anymore because I gave them to charity over sixteen years ago when I was only ten years old. Vintage action figures are somewhat on the expensive side, but for some odd reason, most Kenner Batman figures are not. This is possibly due to the popularity of the new Batman films directed by Christopher Nolan.
