They fought for our country and made it back home
heroes at first and then sent on their own.
We owe them much more than our money can buy
These heroes and legends who heard the war cry.
Some are disabled, that's the price that they paid
to fight for our country while we sat and prayed.
Flashbacks of war days often fill up their mind
they think of those they had to leave behind.
We often forget all the troubles they bared
when they were at battle and feeling scared.
Honor your Veterans for the things they have done
and pray that our soldiers come home one by one.
