The Winchester Veterans Memorial committee is wishes to invite all residents who have faithfully served their country to attend the dedication of a new Veterans Memorial on 3 October 2009 at the Winchester Town Hall. The ceremony, set to commence at 10 A.M. will feature addresses by local veterans and politicians followed by the unveiling and dedication of the memorial. The ceremony will be preceded by a short parade featuring the Winchester High School marching band and the Waltham American Legion band. The memorial will be dedicated to Edward O'Connell for his lifetime of service to the veterans of Winchester.
