In my life of dreams, my only produce is the produce of pain. Dreams are full of pain, and they are full of growth. But growth is a rate, not a quantity. Growth is also a luxury that many cannot afford. Until I establish a tangible niche for myself, I will wait in comfort for my opportunity. Only when I scrape away portions of the cushioning that protects me am I free to feel the sting of pain; only then will I be free to grow beyond finite bounds. When growth is artificial, there is only pain.
