Victor Salva Returns for Jeepers Creepers 3
Writer/Director Victor Salva, who wrote and directed the first two Jeeper Creepers films is returning. The last Jeepers Creepers film was released in 2003 and another creeper adventure has been rumored since then with a story line involving a prequel with The Creeper in the west. It's unknown if this will be the actual story but it is confirmed Jeepers Creepers 3 is a definitely a go. Fans have been wanting another Creepers film since 2003.
Jeeper Creepers was released in 2001 and broke a Labor Day box office record at the time. The movie grossed $37 million in the USA. Jeepers Creepers 2 followed 2 years later and grossed $35 million. The movies are about an ancient creature called The Creeper that comes out of hibernation to feed for 23 days. The first film dealt with a brother and sister driving home for the holidays when they're per sued by The Creeper. The second film dealt with The Creeper on his last feeding day and attacking a school bus full of athletes while a farmer hunts him down for taking his son.
Victor Salva film work is often shadowed by his conviction for sexually molesting a 12 year old boy. Salva video taped the acts. The boy was Nathan Forrest Winters, who starred in Salva's film "Clownhouse". Salva served 15 months and was paroled. Nathan Forrest Winters came forward in 1995 so he could have move goers boycott Salva's film "Powder". Salva directed Clownhouse, Powder, Nature of the Beast, Rites of Passage, Jeepers Creepers, Jeepers Creepers 2 and Peaceful Warrior.
Its also been confirmed that Jeepers Creepers 3 could also lead to a television series. Salva is discussing this with MGM and American Zoetrope.
It's unknown what the story will be and no casting as of yet but let's all hope Jonathan Breck returns as The Creeper. Breck portrayed The Creeper in both Jeepers Creepers films and has been seen in several television series.
Salva's not sure if he will film Jeepers Creepers 3 before or after "Entity", which is being called a sequel to Salva's 1995 film "Powder".
It's not known yet if the film will go to theaters or direct to dvd.

MASA mom please do not bring your rants into here. I got my information from Wikipedia and I still got the details down.
I'm not going to boycott his films. What he did was beyond disgusting but has nothing to do with him as a director. He's a great director but a disgusting human being. I think you should seperate his work from his personal life.
Nathan was 12 when the secret crime was discovered ... his molestation started at around 8 yrs old and continued until Victor Salva was caught, and then claimed that the boy and he were in a gay relationship. It was a lie of course because Nathan is and was not even gay. Salva spent only 1.5 yrs in jail, 3x less than the time he spent molesting Nathan. A true miscarriage of justicce to this day! Do your homework and tell all the facts next time.
Boycott Salva's films.
