The Smackers product comes in a small plastic tube with pop off cap. Some flavors like the Dr.Pepper give lips a reddish tint while others go on clear. The label over time starts to fade off the product. When reaching the end of the product there's about half an inch of gloss left that can't be twisted to the top over the tube casing. One way to get it out is to use the rest with a fingertip or make up lip brush. The cost for a .14 oz tube of lip gloss varies from $1.37-$2.09 depending on where the product is purchased. After having a whiff of a co-workers Victoria Secret lip gloss, I couldn't believe at how amazing it smelled. After hearing it cost $40.00 for a gift set, I decided perhaps it'd be better to stick with Lip Smackers. That was until I saw while holiday shopping the store wide sales that lead me into the store to check out the price. Normally one Beauty Rush lip gloss costs $7.00 each but at the time had a sale of 5 for $20.00. They were also offering lip gloss sets of 6 for $30.00 but aren't allowed to choose which flavors are included in the set. I decided to see what all the buzz was about.
I purchased 'The Big Caramapple" All the lip gloss flavors have nice names and some have an attractive color mixed with a shiny glittery criss-cross design. Each plastic tube contains .46 oz of gloss with a silver twist off cap. Inside the cap has a stick to prevent the lip gloss from accidentally squeezing out of the tube. The smell is luscious and so realistic to that of a caramel apple dessert. The flavor is rich in cinnamon sugary sweet apple. You may find yourself licking your lips as the flavor and smell combine for an amazing experience.
Beauty Rush lip glosses leave a silky shiny appearance on the lips. I only wish the lip gloss would stay wet for a longer amount of time before needing a touch up. After a while it does become a little bit sticky. Otherwise this is a fantastic tasting lip gloss. The costs of $7.00 each may be steep, keep an eye out for sales regarding this item. Stop on in to sample the lip glosses as many stores offer a sample tube of many different flavors to see if it's a product you may want to purchase. The product sample must stay in the store. Post a Commentmy stepson actually ate an entire tube of it. called poison controll (1-800-222-1222) with the empty container handy. they said it was not poisonous or harmful, just to watch him for an upset stomach because of his age and size. not an E.R. situation.
can it be harmful if swallowed, i.e. small children, infants, pets?
