Victoria's Secret Body Double Mist in Appletini

Layla A.
In my last review of a Victoria's Secret body mist, I revealed that while I thought it was a good product, I have grown out of it. However, this is something that I have yet to grow out of and probably never will. Like Love Spell, I have gone through about three bottles of this and am now on my fourth.

SCENT

Appletini Body Double Mist is a sweet scent, but also has a nice tart side. It smells strongly of apples and a bunch of other delicious things, and is a scent that I still love three years later. If you like green apple anything, you have got to at least smell this. I would smell the bottle all day if I could, but then I would seem a little weird to others. But hey, if you want to smell this bottle all day long, you will be totally normal in my book. It is on the almost-sickeningly sweet side, but does not smell like alcohol at all (even though alcohol is the first ingredient).

STAYING POWER

I find that like most other body mists, this does not last all day. However, this does last longer than Love Spell at three and a half hours. This is on a good day, but still, that counts for something. What is great about the Body Double Mist line is that they are moisturizing. You put it on your body and rub it in like a lotion. Viola! Refreshed skin.

FUNCTIONALITY

Like mentioned in my Love Spell review, Appletini is a good room spray and body spray, so do I find myself reaching for this a lot. The bottle is nowhere near portable at 8.4 oz, and don't quote me, but I do not believe they make a smaller size. If they did, I would be the first one to buy out the store!

PACKAGING

The Body Double Mists are in what I call the non-crack-able bottles, however, I have had a ton of the caps break on me. It is a clear bottle and has the cool half clear-half green liquid that must be shaken before spraying. This bottle fits nicely in the hand, but sometimes is a little hard to spray when you are reaching the end of the bottle.

PRICE

These retail for $12 at Victoria's Secret, but usually are on special for deals such as 3/$25. While they are more expensive than the Refreshing Body Mist, I would happily pay the extra $3 for a bottle of this.

FINAL OPINIONS

If I had to recommend one item from the Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush line or any of their beauty products, Appletini would be the winner, hands down. I love these and will continue to buy them until someone makes me stop.
