Victoria's Secret Hydrating Body Lotion in 'Sweet Daydream' Review

Victoria's Secret has some of the most heavenly scented body lotions out there. I've never bought any of their body lotions myself, but only because I'm not the type of girl that usually wears lotion. I don't particularly have dry skin except maybe during winter. One Christmas my boyfriend's mother gave me a gift bag with all sorts of goodies, several of which were body lotions, not sure if that implies something but one of the body lotions I got from her was from Victoria's Secret's Secret Garden collection. I got their hydrating body lotion in 'Sweet Daydream'.

I love this body lotion for many reasons and one of the reason is the absolutely divine scent. It's the best smelling lotion I have ever smelled. The bottle says the scent is a blend of raspberry, apple and vanilla but it smells like some sort of magical fruit that doesn't exist in this world, that's how great it smells. I don't normally like fruity scents but 'Sweet Daydream' doesn't smell like a typical fruity scented body lotion. Other than the scent this lotion is very moisturizing but isn't greasy and the moisture lasts all day, as does the scent. I've used it in the morning and had it on until the end of the day and never once had to reapply for moisture or scent. The scent is light enough that it wouldn't irritate the nostrils, and once it's applied to the body the scent sort of lingers. I also like that it's a press top and not one of those screw top lotions. Did I mention that it's affordable? I didn't have to pay for mine but the 8.4 oz bottle that I got only cost $9.

There are a few downsides to Victoria's Secret body lotion though. As far as I can tell it only comes in 8.4 oz bottle and nothing smaller. I would've liked to have had it in a travel size to carry around in my purse, or even to take on trips. Like all of Victoria's Secret products this body lotion can only be found at their stores and website. Which means if you don't like malls, the easiest place to find a Victoria's Secret store, you'll either have to tough it out, find a stand alone store or bite the shipping cost and order it off of their website.

I can't find anything to dislike about Victoria's Secret body lotion. It's a great product that's affordable and I love it. Once I run out I'll without a doubt purchase another bottle for myself and if they come out with a smaller version I'd buy that too.
