Victoria's Secret Perfume "Super Model" Review

I'm pretty devoted to Victoria's Secret when it comes to undergarments because they seem to be the only brand that offers a huge selection of cute underwear in every style, cut and fabric you could think of. Their undergarments are also the only ones that fit me properly. Victoria's Secret also has a beauty line, everything from cosmetics to fragrances. I've gone in there a few times just to test their products out. I love most of their scents and for some reason when I was looking for a perfume I didn't even consider Victoria's Secret until my boyfriend suggested it. I spent all day searching for the perfect scent and found 'Super Model' within ten minutes of walking into their store.

Things that I liked about Victoria's Secret 'Super Model' perfume: It comes in a simple but chic, rectangular glass bottle that has a golden pearlescent sheen to it. It's a spray bottle and not the kind of a perfume that I have to dab on. It sprays just enough product out, one spray is good enough. I don't like spray bottles that either spray too much or too little and drips all over my hand. It's affordable, the price ranges from $39-$49 but goes on sale from time to time. I love the scent, it's soft, lingering, light and feminine without being too fruity or floral, and the scent lasts all day. I've gotten a lot of compliments about it.

As much as I love this perfume there are a few things about Victoria's Secret 'Super Model' perfume that I don't like too. I'm not sure if it applies to all of their perfumes and scented body stuff but I've noticed it with 'Super Model.' One is that I can only buy it from Victoria's Secret, either at their store or their website which means if they don't have it at my local store for what ever reasons I'd have to order it. Ordering online is nice but cost of shipping can be a pain. I've also noticed that the scent changes in very humid and hot climates. I live in Texas and the summers here are scorching and can get pretty humid, especially in Houston. The scent changes to a much sweeter one, almost like cotton candy and some sort of berry. I don't like smelling like cotton candy or berries, it reminds me too much of teenage girls and I'm too old to be smelling like that.

Aside for the few negative things I could think of Victoria's Secret 'Super Model' perfume is a great product. I would buy it again and would recommend this to anyone who's as picky as I am when it comes to perfume.
