Victory Over Trials and Tribulations

Amanda Kidd
Blessed are those who persevere under trials and tribulations, because when he has stood the test, God has promised the crown of life for those who love Him. When Christians face trials, sometimes we challenge God about our afflictions. We often feel appalled and could name many sinners who need scolding, correction, and rebuke in the holy name of Jesus (keep it real). Our adversary flourishes with prosperity without praise in their hearts while we're suffering. This must be an awful mistake (it isn't). When God calls us to face trials, the Word says consider it pure joy because the testing of our faith develops perseverance. We are to be patient in affliction and understand that God has called us out of darkness to a righteous life. These trials can be extremely painful, but we must pass the test of salvation and let God purify our souls. God has to devour every ungodly characteristic in our soul and His methods are trials and tribulations. Some Christians despair life their tribulations are so severe, and what's worse is they strike unknowingly, neither can we choose them.

If I could, I'd ask God to deprive me of Snickers opposed to financial hardships, dysfunctional relationships, foreclosures, unemployment, divorces, disobedient children, illnesses, and tragedies. God has to clean house, you may lose ungodly friends, and your pride and dignity, because the Bible says we will face trials of many kinds as though something strange is happening to us. God's plan is to bring us good and not harm, even as our souls prosper. The comfort I offer you is fight the good fight of faith, beware of the devil and his schemes because he wants your soul as much as God. Daily prayer, Bible study, fellowshipping, fasting, and spending quality time with the Lord will birth victory. Pass the test, because those same tests will resurface until you are strengthened and learn how to depend on God, not yourselves or man. Trials produce righteousness and holiness, because you'll have zero tolerance for Satan and sin, which only produces death. Be humble and praise our Heavenly Father who's compassionate, and will send those to comfort you as a testimony that God comforted them in their times of affliction. Amen.
