(Video) Fall TV Season Reviews: 'Undercovers'

Hartley Engel
"Undercovers," a new series which debuts tonight at 8pm on NBC, is about a pair of married CIA agents turned caterers. Regarding the two leads of the series - Boris Kodjoe and Samantha Bloom, Veteran Los Angeles Times television critic Mary McNamara writes, "....while spies are not unheard of these days, they're also married. Who can resist an action-packed, banter-heavy spy show that also explores modern marriage?"

Andy Baily of The Hollywood Reporter is not quite as taken with the show. "J.J. Abrams' return to primetime espionage is a tepid affair showcasing stock subterfuge and leaden leads," writes Baily.
