Video game rental 123 ask the question? Have you ever wandered what it would be like to own every game that came out on every game system that was ever created. The fun of playing old games from the past would be a thrill for you and your guest at birthday parties and gatherings. Imagine playing the first Pong, or Pac man from Atari 2600.
As a kid I had a Pong game for the holidays. But I have never owned an Atari 2600 until just recently, when I stumbled upon one at a resale shop. The games people remember are centipede, Ms. Pac man, Indian Jones and a few other titles that you are thinking about right now. Yes that's the one look at you smiling at all the fond memories of your youth, as our parents would say wasting our lives away playing video games. Who would have thought this entertainment would be a multi-million dollar business.
New Video Games
Now imagine what parents are going thru now with the cost of video games, and all the major systems. You have Nintendo, Playstation, and Microsoft as the top three competitors in the gaming system battle. The first 2 have multiple platforms to attract the buyer to purchase games for, just to name a few Nintendo has the Game Cube, Wii, Game boy and the DS, Playstation has the PSP, PS 2, and the PS 3. Imagine from having a kid that wants all the systems and all the games. Well in my life I have or me and my son have all the systems except for the Wii and X box 360. My son wants both of them but I told him no and my wife said no, but we all know how grand parents are they split the cost between both grand parents and bought him a Wii for getting all A's in school.
Now bowling is a weekly event for the family.
Rent verse Own
Owning all these systems mean the cost would be outrageous to keep up with all the new game releases. I know first hand that my son has game titles he does not play with, and some games he plays all the time. Well the hottest thing out there today is video game rentals. Rent the game for a couple of days from anywhere at $1 dollar a day to $5.99 for a week. Video Games can cost you new out the box around 49.99, used it will cost you around 39.99. As you can see buying new or used is only saving you ten dollars, but if you rent the game a few times you save lots of money. Video game stores like Game Stop, and Electronic Boutique are raking in millions off of new and used games they sale. So don't be afraid to purchase that classic video game like say Madden, or Halo, but with other titles that come and go by the night rent them. After a few times playing we will just put the game on the shelf and wait for the next new game to come out. Be smart think long term and rent video games that's what we think at video game rental 123.
