Fans of Microsoft's famed RPG (role playing game), Fable, will be glad to know that an addition to the game is soon to be available. It is called Fable: The Lost Chapters. For those of you who played the original Fable, you may have felt that the game was entirely too short. I know I did. The story line was great, but the journey just ended too soon with too many unanswered questions. This is when Fable: The Lost Chapters steps in.

This game has the same real time game play and battle system as before. Your character can still belch, fart, flirt, get married, etc. As you fight battles, your character will still age and show signs of scarring from tough battles. You also have the option of having your character act as a saint throughout the game, or act as a devilish murderer with no pity.

The stunning graphics have improved (as if that was possible) and the sound is enchanting. Some may find this game to be an extension of the first one, which is partly true. However, you have to beat the original game before you can visit the new lands and take on the new missions and side quests that Fable: The Lost Chapters has to offer. After beating the original Fable, this game begins with a new conflict that is full of new enemies such as a Succubus Queen and ice trolls atop a frozen mountain. However, new side quests are available throughout the original story.

If you were hoping that this game added another 40 hours of game play, you will be disappointed. The game is only about 15 hours (maybe 20 if you really stretch it out). But I still found it worth my while.

This game is available in both the PC version, and the XBOX version. The PC version is available now, but the XBOX version is to be released on November 1 2005. The PC version is a bit difficult to play. I found trying to make my character perform the tedious battle maneuvers to be quite difficult with the use of a keyboard. You also cannot import your character from an XBOX console. I suggest that people just wait for the XBOX version. This will allow you to move your character with more fluidity.

This game has an ESRB rating of mature. This means that all of you "younglings" cannot purchase it without begging mommy and daddy to buy it for you. I would not recommend this game for children as it is. The themes are far too suggestive.

I really loved the first Fable. Because of my love of the first game, I find it hard to give this game a score any less than 9 out of 10. It was a short game, but it is still one of the best RPG games I have ever played. Being able to kill any NPC (non playable character) in the game is highly amusing and I will never tire of farting as I walk through town!
