I gave GHTP MAX'D a score of 23 out of 25 for Graphics and Audio because not every score can be a perfect 25. The graphics of GHTP MAX'D are well prepared and took some time to render. These graphics exceed most paintball games graphics in that you can see every little detail, down to the last logo. As for the audio, all I have to say is wow. The soundtrack that WXP used for GHTP MAX'D was absolutely outstanding. GHTP MAX'D featured bands such as Underoath, and Morning September. The excellent 5.1 quality of surround sound makes you feel as if you're in the game. The quality of sound and soundtrack give GHTP MAX'D a touch as if from a god, the god of paintball.
Gameplay
I gave GHTP MAX'D a sore of 25 out of 25 for Gameplay because well simply put the realism of this game blows any other sports game out of the water, or should I say paint. The moment my finger left my hand and reached for the button on my PS2 my eyes began to swell with such anticipation. The music grew louder, the graphics grew colorful, and the controller flew into my hand. Sweaty palms and a can full of Mountain Dew I began my GHTP MAX'D quest, a quest to find the best paintball game ever made. That was my view of GHTP MAX'D's gameplay. Everything came together to make a perfectly rounded paintball game. GHTP MAX'D is a must buy.
Creativity
I gave GHTP MAX'D a score of 20 out of 25 for Creativity because there are a ton of different paintball/sports games. One of the most creative things about this game was the way WXP composed every last detail down to custom cell shaded graphics. Other factors such as music and fields were about the same in any other paintball game. There isn't much to say about creativity except WXP could have done better.
Fun
I gave GHTP MAX'D a score of 25 out of 25 for Fun because the graphics and sound combined with the gameplay give GHTP MAX'D a certain twang that not most sports games have. GHTP MAX'D takes you inside the game and makes it part of your life. You get to experience the tournaments the same way all the Pros got to as they worked their way to the top. Playing as a Pro definitely lifted my ego as a paint baller.
In conclusion GHTP MAX'D is a must have. If you have no money to purchase this fine game then you must rent it. This game will bring you on the top of your game. Cheers.
