TOCA Race Driver 3 has 32 tiers of racing, some with 3 different racing circuits. There are over 116 championships available and all areas can be revisited. This makes it so that you can progress to be the ultimate racer as you wish! There are 35 different racing styles. These include: stock cars, big wheel trucks, muscle cars, sprint cars, Baja motor cross, pick up trucks, classic cars, and Formula one cars! You must qualify to race at some tracks and to race certain cars so do your best! There are a total of 70 different licensed cars that you can race in and over 100 different circuit variations! It is absolutely impossible to get bored as the racing possibilities are endless!
The look of the game is quite nice. There are beautiful light and shadow effects. The cut scenes themselves are of cinematic quality. As you race, up to 21 cars can be on the track at once! Each car looks as stunning as the last. The graphics also maintain their allure despite the numerous vehicles on the scene all at once. The soundtrack is also pretty descent.
Controls are different depending on each car you drive. The cars are subject to realistic effects such as: over heating radiators, engine explosions, aerodynamics, weight differences, and tire heating. Each of these effects changes your driving experience so it is never the same race twice! Lastly, the on screen menus are very easy to navigate.
TOCA Race Driver 3 is available on Playstation 2, XBOX, and for your PC. It is rated E 10. This means it is for everyone 10 years of age and older. This is because the game features suggestive themes and language.
