Video Games to Still Look Out for in 2010

A List of Video Games Still to Be Released in 2010

Antoine Serpico
2010 has till now been one monster year in gaming with titles like Heavy Rain, God of War III, Command and Conquer4 and many more being released. However, the world of gaming is still far from being saturated and here is a list of titles that have yet to be released in 2010:

Just Cause 2 (Windows, PS3, X360)
(March 23)

The sequel to the 2006 sandbox-style game Just Cause. Let's hope it performs better than the original.

Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City (Windows, PS3)
(March 30)

Finally, here is both the DLC's of 2008's mammoth Grand Theft Auto IV viz. The Lost and the Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony. Let's hope the guys at Rockstar do a better porting job than what they did to the original on the PC.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction (Windows, X360)
(April 13)

The next installment in the now hugely popular stealth Splinter Cell series.

Super Street Fighter IV (PS3, X360)
(April 27)

An updated sequel of the 2008 smash hit, Street Fighter IV continues the series.

Sims 3: Ambitions (Windows)
(May 4)

The Sims 3's second expansion pack allows users to now have much more creative control over their sims as they go to work, which was a much asked for feature when the original came out.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (Windows, PS3, X360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, PSP)
(May 18)

The next game in the Prince of Persia series will continue the storyline set by The Sands of Time and The Two Thrones and takes place between The Sands of Time and Warrior Within.

Alan Wake (X360)
(May 18)

Billed as a "psychological action thriller", let's hope this game lives up to all the hype its massive PR campaign has generated.

WWE Online (Windows)
(June 6)

WWE goes online with some cool features such as creating your own wrestling avatar.

Kane and Lynch 2:Dog Days (Windows, PS3, X360)
(August 24)

Seriously speaking, 2007's Kane and Lynch: Dead Men would have been a great game had it not been for the sheer number of bugs. Let's hope this one corrects them all and does justice to a magnificent franchise.

Dead Rising 2 (Windows, PS3, X360)
(August 31)

The sequel to 2006's Dead Rising is set to include a more likeable protagonist and hordes of zombies to fight as usual.

Medal of Honor (Windows, PS3, X360)

Simply titled Medal of Honor, let's hope it lives up to the sheer aura of the series whose title it shares.

Well not actually. It's just that a majority of Wii games are exclusive to the Wii and I was more so thinking of multi-platform games. And yes, Mass Effect 2 was better. Notice the et cetera's?

    Thanks for commenting though!

Have to agree with ulisse, what about mario galaxy 2? what bout metroid and legend of zelda?

Theres a lot of quality titles going to be realesed which aren't on this list such as crackdown 2 and the last qaurdian. Also mass effect 2 is better than god of war 3, heavy rain and command and conquer 4.

I get you ignore the Wii and its games...?
