Legendary New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner has died of a heart attack at the age of 80. Steinbrenner, who purchased the Yankees in 1973 for $10 million and built the franchise into a juggernaut now worth an estimated $1.6 billion, was arguably the most famous owner in all of professional sports. During his tenure, the Yankees won the World Series seven times. Below is a video clip of a guest appearance Steinbrenner made on "Seinfeld." It shows the man was not above poking fun at his image.

So sorry to see Steinbrenner go; quite a guy. Thanks for posting this ~ somehow I never saw that particular episode of Seinfeld & it's probably the best one of those with Steinbrenner.
