(Video) Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Trailer, and Dates for Two-Part Movie Series

An Older Danile Radcliffe Still Manages to Impress

Jan Corn
The newest Harry Potter trailer will not only have hearts racing, but reveals that Part I of the Deathly Hallows installment will have its premiere in November of 2010. Then, Harry Potter fans will have to wait approximately eight months to see the second part of the Deathly Hallows sequel in July of 2011. If the first movie lives up to fans' expectations, they will be eagerly waiting for the second part of the Harry Potter sequel. Even if Part I turns out to be less than expected, it is unlikely to stop fans of the very popular books from returning to see Part II. It is unfortunate that there is such a long space between the two parts of the Deathly Hallows Sequel but anticipation for the final movie should be at a fever pitch by July 2011.

Daniel Radcliffe definitely looks older than in previous Harry Potter movies but this doesn't seem to make much difference. Viewers have watched him grow older in each Harry Potter movie. For those of us who have read the books, there do seem to be some spoilers in the trailer, if only because it is clear what is about to happen in certain parts.

The scene between Harry and Voldemort in the Forbidden Forest isn't exactly vague, and Radcliffe admitted to a case of nerves about filming this scene in an interview with MTV. While waiting for the November showing of Part I, enjoy the Deathly Hallows trailer below. The movie will be shown in both 2-D, as well as 3-D (in select IMAX theatres). Warner Brothers has pulled out all the stops on this one!

I'm reading the book to my kids now because they couldn't wait to see what happens in the movies.
