(Video) Leslie Van Houten, Former Manson 'Family' Member, Up for Parole -- for the 19th Time

Leslie Van Houten, who is in jail for participating in the gruesome Manson "Family" murders, is up for parole - for the 19th time. If parole is granted (which is highly unlikely), the 60-year-old convicted murderer would not be released from custody immediately; the parole board would have to submit the decision to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger for final approval. Below is a video of Van Houten's 2007 parole hearing.

Let her out. She can live next door to me, she is not a threat anymore. Artie Mitchell drove over to his brother's house and shot him dead. He got 10 years. A bouncer beat to death Jaco Pastorious, world renown musician and went home after 4 months of a 4 year sentence. Leslie's actions were one night of violence in an otherwise non-violent life.

I'm hoping she is denied for the 19th time.
