(Video Link) Katja Puschnik, Girl Who Throws Puppies in River?: Vigilante Justice Via the Web?

Katja Puschnik is the name being floated in Google land today as the culprit who threw puppies into a river in an online video sparking vigilante justice. No official word yet on whether Katja is the culprit, so in addition to vigilante justice charges there could be some liability issues too for espousing the girl is the puppy thrower in the red sweatshirt.

The country of Croatia has been mentioned, as has a Facebook page being attributed to the puppy-throwing monster, allegedly this Katja Puschnik. One site even has the girl's school and home phone number listed, making it easy for misguided readers to "get in touch." (See that link here). It also shows her Facebook photo as well.

Puppy throwing into a river is a cruel and concerning behavior of any youth or individual, but it also is also often a precursor for more violent tendencies waiting to erupt. Edmund Emil Kemper III, the California serial killer who preyed upon college coeds years ago, long before Ted Bundy made his rounds, was cruel to animals before practicing on humans.

The puppy thrower in the video making the rounds exhibits sadistic tendencies in a new and disturbing way. The individual, not officially known to be Katja Puschnik as being reported, doesn't just cruelly hurl one puppy into a river. She hurls several. And she doesn't appear to be bothered by a little thing called a guilty conscience during the act either.

This kind of sadistic video is reminiscent of the one in which kittens are being stomped upon to fuel men's sexual deviance. That one is called Crush. Both videos, the puppy throwing and the kitten stomping, exhibit just how declining our world is becoming: they are now advertising their evil deeds done in the light of day--and laughing about it.

But before justice can be brought against the girl throwing the puppies into the river, law enforcement must determine who the individual is--not vigilante justice. Katja Puschnik is, as we say in America, "Innocent until proven guilty." But if she turns out to be the one to do this atrocious inhumane act against defenseless puppies, law enforcement will know how to handle her.
