According to the Los Angeles Times, Mitrice Richardson, who has been missing since September 16, may have been spotted alive in Las Vegas, Nevada. When this story first broke, a number of people in the Los Angeles area thought they may have seen Mitrice Richardson in various locations. I may have been one of them (this was near West Hollywood). Please see the video clips below to learn more about the this sad and disturbing story.
Every day, I see mentally ill people on the streets of Los Angeles who are not being treated; some of them refuse to take their medication and some of them might be willing to seek treatment, but they're too far gone to know what to do. Sorry, but people with severe mental illness must be forced to seek treatment. It's the humane thing to do. Please read this. Meanwhile, please pray for Mitrice Richardson.
