(Video) Ringo Starr Turns 70; Will Celebrate with a Little Help from His Friends
Legendary drummer Ringo Starr (he was in this band called the Beatles) turns 70 on Wednesday. According to reports, he will be celebrating the occasion at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square. As well, Starr will be performing with his All Starr Band at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
Interestingly, Ringo Starr is not considered to be the world's greatest drummer; but I truly believe he is a very talented actor (the best of all the Beatles). Below is the original trailer for "The Magic Christian," an excellent movie from 1969 starring Ringo and the great Peter Sellers.
