(Video) 'The Switch' Reviews: Right Premise, Wrong Script, According to Critics

"The Switch" reviews are in! At the time of this writing the Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer (it measures the percentage of positive reviews from approved critics for a certain movie) stands at 49%. The consensus reads as follows: "The Switch" has an interesting premise and a charming cast; unfortunately, it also has a trite script that hews too close to tired rom-com formulas.

James Berardinelli, who is the world's greatest online movie critic, writes that the film is a "middling romantic comedy with a strong secondary plot about father/son bonding." He gives it 2 ½ out of 4 stars.
