St. Patrick's Day is here, and in addition to green garb and copious beer, there are plenty of traditional Irish dishes to cook up in honor of the holiday. Corn beef and cabbage is probably the most well-known Irish dish, and this video corn beef and cabbage recipe illustrates how easy the meal is to make for St. Patrick's Day as the ingredients are basically thrown together in a pot and left simmer.
For the more intrepid culinarians, this video shows how to make lamb shanks for St. Patrick's Day, which includes a healthy amount of Irish whiskey and Guiness beer.
