(Video) Weekend Box Office Results: Clooney's 'American' Takes Top Spot with $13 Million
According to Box Office Mojo, "The American" starring George Clooney was the number one weekend draw at the box office. It pulled in approximately $13 million; coming in second was "Takers" with about $11.5 million. "Machete" took the third spot with an estimated $11.3 million. Clearly, the aging George Clooney still has enough star wattage to fill a multiplex. Good for him! Below is a scene from "The American."
