(Video) Will Joran Van Der Sloot Die in Peru Prison Before Natalie Holloway Murder Details Revealed?

Natalie's Father, Dave Holloway, Returns to Aruba in Search of Answers

Jan Corn
In an ironic twist of fate, it appears that Joran van der Sloot may end up in a prison where his life is in imminent danger, locked behind bars in Miguel Castro Castro prison "one of the world's worst prisons", according to international attorney Michael J. Griffith (see video). Griffith is very familiar with the prison system in Peru and notes that at Miguel Castro Castro prison there are about 10,000 prisoners for 3,000 spaces. It is so dangerous that a new warden was murdered on his very first day on the job. Prisoners don't fare any better.

Meanwhile, Natalie Holloway's distraught father has returned yet again to Aruba, still seeking clues to the details of his daughter's death, according to 6 ABC Action News . Despite repeated trips to Aruba by both Natalie's father, Dave Holloway, and her mother, Beth Holloway, the family has been unable to find out what exactly happened to their daughter as well as the location of her body. Eerily, the most recent murder of Stephany Flores happened on the fifth anniversary of Natalie Holloway's disappearance.

But will Joran van der Sloot live long enough to reveal the information sought by Dave and Beth Holloway? According to Griffith, for fifty dollars "someone will cut your throat" at Miguel Castro Castro prison. While few may feel any sympathy for Joran van der Sloot or care about his safety, her family is still frustrated by unanswered questions, ones that van der Sloot could potentially answer. They have been steadfast and dogged in their attempts to get justice for their daughter, as so many parents would in a similar situation. It would indeed be tragic if van der Sloot died before he could provide vital clues and information for the Holloway family.

Sounds dangerous, but it serves him right.

Very well written! It's so sad that Natalee's family still doesn't know what happened to her and may never know. I heard someone else say they didn't think Joran would survive very long in the prison there and I think I would be surprised if he lasted very long too.

It's like a bad Twilight Zone episode! That prison he's in is far from paradise.

I hate this guy. Good article though!

Thanks for the update, Jan. This disgusting monster is history once he's inside the prison. Maybe the other two boys involved have an idea what happened to Natalie. I wonder if it's time to pressure them again?

The truth is probably mixed in with all the lies he's told. I don' think he will ever tell what happened to her. Great article!

I really hope that he does reveal the truth about Natalie before anything happens to him in prison. Great article!

He probably does deserve to die, but it would be too good for him. As long as he's alive, there's at least a chance we might learn the truth about Natalee (and maybe others, as well?).

My thought is that once he's in prison, he will be desperate for any tiny piece of safty or luxery and he will eventually spill his guts about Natalie's location for something simple in exchange. Great story - thanks!

In answer to your title, we can only hope he dies in prison. He's never going to tell where Natalee is unless they give him immunity and that's not going to happen.
