Equipment Used: Apple Barrel Paint - Red Apple 29784 Apple Barrel Paint - Banana 20219 folkArt paint - Licorice - 938 Plaid One Stroke Brush 3/4 Flat Plaid One Stroke Brush Scruffy Loew Cornell #8 Coffee Can Directions: You can use your coffee lid as a palette. Put some black paint on it for your base. Paint all the way around the can. Use your 3/4 Flat Brush for this task. A light coat, please! Only enough to conceal the coffee can. Trace the rim of the container with the black paint as well. Take your Red Apple and Banana paint. Mix them to make a Halloween shade of orange.(Most oranges I see are too neon, if you find a nice Halloween orange, use it.) Use the orange paint to add your 3-D card's message like Happy Halloween! Use your leftover orange paint and a scruffy brush to add a textured effect to the back of your can. Then use black paint to letter in your name and a spooky message. This will be visible but it won't leap out, which makes it subtly creepy!
