Acme Packet Q4 EPS Tops Street, Raises 2011 View

Acme Packet (NASDAQ:APKT) reported Q4 adjusted EPS of $0.26, topping Wall Street's estimate for $0.23. Revenue in the quarter was $70.2 million, a 70% increase compared to Q4 2009, which saw revenue of $41.3 million. Net income was $14.5 million, or $0.21 a share.Total revenue in 2010 came in at $231.2 million, up 63% from $141.5 million a year ago. Net income for FY10 was $43 million, or $0.63 per share.The company raised its outlook for 2011 to $1.05 a share from its previous guidance of 99 cents to $1 a share. It also raised its full year revenue projection to $300 million from $286-287 million. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected EPS of $1.04 on revenue of $296.3 million.
