Thank you for posting this. I have three sons who suffer with PAS. Up and down the emotions go for them. The alientation started as soon as they were born. I am working on it. I am here, I let them know I am here. I wish I could talk to you.

  • PAS in the UK - not illegal/not recognized!?12/20/2010

The Children's Act (UK)is supposed to protect children against emotional abuse but it seems UK law does not recognise PAS!

I'm trying to highlight the problem and would welcome any support from people around the world and ask that they share their stories and thoughts in www.controlling.proboards.com in the Parental Alienation forum.
Although there is a great deal of hurt and anguish, may I ask you please do it anonymously - so any children involved do not stumble across personal and traumatic situations.
    Thanks
    Kevin

Thank you for what you are doing I am a mother of 5 children that became aliented from me, some of them don't even talk to me. Your message gives me hope that one day my adult children will forgive me and understand why I could not stay with there father, and had not resources to help. God bless you I only hope that they forgive me enough to let me be part of my grandchildrens lives and their lives again

Dear Jesus: please help my two young children. Their dad refuses to let them see me in person, or talk to me on the phone. Thank you Chrissy for sharing because I can get my children's perspective. And just as I thought, they are suffering from emotional trauma because of what their dad is doing and saying. God bless you sweetheart. I will not give up on my children.

Thank you for having the courage to do what you do. I'm a mother of a daughter that is alienated and I don't know how to fix it. My heart is broken and I suffer every day. I don't know how to reach her without it hurting her in the process.

  • Robin Denison-Past VP of Parental Alienation Aware7/23/2009

Chrissy is an articulate representative of the pain and destruction Parental Alienation causes children and families.
Let's hope parents soon learn the lesson of loving their children more than hurting the other parent.
