Cook's Canyon is a great little area to take a short walk or hike in. Located in Barre MA and owned by the Audubon Society it is very peaceful with much to look at. My daughter is part of the walking progam at school and this is one of the routes we frequent!

Mishel, I just took a stroll in Cooks Canyon that I took about 75 years ago. I lived in Barre then and went to Cooks Cyn in the winter
with my ice skates to skate on a small pond there. I lived on West St. so it was quite a hike over there but I didn't seem to mind the
cold or the long hike as long as I could skate. Sometimes the ice was too thin and of course we fell through. Mert, a friend on mine
still lives in Barre and e mailed me about walking in Cooks Cyn. I had long forgotten that idyllic place but a memory was sparked
so I Googled and came up with your video walk in Cooks Cyn.
California is my home now and I walk among cactus in the desert sometimes. It would be nice to once more see the lovely Cooks Cyn.
Just maybe it will happen. Mary G
