General Electric (GE) is up 0.05% at $20.21 in mid-day trade, helped by a 10-year contract with Spanish wind developer Cobra Energia. GE will provide services for 178 GE wind turbines at eight wind farms across Spain. The agreement is the electronic giant's largest wind energy services contract in Europe. The services include wind turbine availability, improved performance, extended life and predictable maintenance costs, as well as remote control of wind turbine operations and advanced troubleshooting capabilities, the company said.
