Goldman Sachs puts active on SEC charging board member
Federal regulators have charged a former Goldman Sachs board member with insider trading, saying he provided confidential information to the central figure in a major hedge fund probe, according to Reuters. Rajat Gupta, served on the boards of Goldman Sachs and Procter & Gamble. The SEC alleges Gupta illegally tipped Galleon hedge fund manager Rajaratnam with inside information related to quarterly earnings at Goldman, P&G and Berkshire Hathaway's (BRK.A) $5B investment in Goldman.
