Groundbreaking Agreement Brings OSI-930 to China
In a unique agreement that could become a model for research and development cooperation between Chinese pharmaceutical companies and those in other countries, Long Island, NY based OSI Pharmaceuticals (OSIP) and Nanjing, China based Simcere Pharmaceutical Group (SCR) announced a collaboration to develop, manufacture, and market OSI's OSI-930 KDR/Kit inhibitor in china. In pre-clinical studies, OSI-930 showed promise in helping cancer patients.
