Cincinnati's Oakley Square Celebrates the New Year, New York Style
Happy New Year in Oakley Square! Hundreds of people in Cincinnati, Ohio celebrated the beginning of 2011 at the newly renovated Oakley Square! Oakley is one of the city's premier neighborhoods, only minutes from downtown. Mark Rogers and Piper Fennimore along with The 20th Century Theater and its recently restored sign, had a New York Times Square feel as the fireworks ball exploded and dropped just before midnight. The Sly Band helped with the countdown and played hot selections as the crowd ushered in the New Year!
