Today, I'd like to share with you three different snack treats that I like to make for myself and I'd like to share them with you if your one of those people like me, on the go, and your trying to beat the temptation to pick up a snack from the vending machine at work or while you gas up the car in the evening. For myself, I like to keep Sunflower seeds around the house and I use them to put together my own trail mix. I mix them with some raisin bran. I also like to use flax seed that I pick up in the bins at my local Health Mart. I mix them all together and slip them in a Zip-Loc bag. Our second snack involves the egg. I love hard boiled eggs. They are high in protein, a relatively low calorie food, and they fit in with a lower carb lifestyle. A third snack involves Fiber One. A great cereal on its own. I like to mix half a cup in a bowl with a generous helping of cinnamon and carry it with me on the go. The cinnamon gives it a spicy twist which helps curb my sweet tooth.
