Madsnana - Hmm. Wisconsin might be the dairy state (much better than California cows, I may add) - but we are not fools.

This is simply a thought-up, after-work type of snack I can bet where you just need some protein. (However, I would have added some black olives and tomatos, and maybe some cilantro for flavor).

OMG! This is NOT a quesadilla recipe! Any self-respecting Mexican cook would freak. Where are u people from? Wisconsin? Real quesadillas are made on a skillet (or flat Mexican-type skillet) and often flattened while browning. No microwave should be involved ever. Mrs Aguilar's method is closer to authentic.

thats isnt how you make a quesadilla, first you heat a pan med flame warm up one tortilla dont toast just warm once its warm take out of pan warm up another one while that one warms up but cheese on warm tortilla then place the other one on top then press down w/a spatula until toated and cheese is melted!warming up the tortilla is good because it melts the cheese fatser and youre mostly just keeping it on the stove to toast it a bit =)

I make mine by putting my tortilla first on the stove coil to toast it, then I put it in a big frying pan where I add my cheese, meat, veggies and sauce. Then I fold it over and smush it down with a spatula. Once the bottom looks grilled like on taco bell's quesadillas I flip it and do the same until the cheese is melted. A lot better than this method.
