Post a CommentMan, this video inspired me to go downstairs and just nuke a hot dog for myself, but I ran into some difficulty. I am stuck on the relish step. You mention that I can use a fork, or a spoon, OR a knife, ~OR~ whatever I want. The possibilities are what I think are holding me back, at the moment. The ketchup and mustard parts were so easy, they just squirted right out of there... This relish bit though...
Okay, so I tried using a fork, but I just really wasn't getting the kind of traction I needed to lift the relish out of the jar. So I tried a knife, but, you know, I'm all fumbly when it comes to that sort of thing. I had also used the last of my spoons earlier today when I was attempting to construct a peanut butter and jelly sandwich (could you post a video of how to do this soon PLZ?!?!), so now I'm at a loss. I tried using a rolling pin, but it really wasn't doing the trick. It seems like the rolling pin would work best AFTER I put the relish onto the hot dog.

This is awesome. I have always wondered how people can just figure this sort of thing out on their own. It makes me so angry that the label on my gallon of Heinz relish doesn't give me a hot dog recipe. You, sir, are a modern day Jesus Christ. Hallelujah.
Go Stillers.
i couldnt hear it.
YOUR VIDEOS SUCK. I'M COMING TO FLAG ALL OF THEM!!!!!!!!
your hot dogs are cool!
If you are gonna claim to be making the "classic American Hot Dog" then you have to actually make a classic American Hot Dog.
1) It must be steamed or boiled - not radiated.
2) The bun MUST be toasted in a toaster oven or on the grill.
3) You can use mustard, relish, whatever - but ketchup is an absolute no-no. Ketchup is a joke of a condiment anyway. Lazy-man's tomato.
i love ketchup on everything:D
Nobody, I mean nobody, puts ketchup on a hot dog.
NO KETCHUP!!
God bless you, sir - just what I was looking for.
Greetings from Australia!
