How To Create Your own Screencast
This is a very short audio introduction for those who wish to produce their own screencast as a tutor device.
Tried out "Wisdom AutoSrcreenRecorder 2.1" to create a screencast on how to create a screencast. When saving the recording, there are two choices, .swf or .avi format. Saving in .avi results in a screencast that is unreadable, If enlarge the view to full screen then the screencast is pixaled out. The Auto Screen Recorder is good if saving in flash format but if saved in avi format then poor video quality results.. Any converter program takes a long time to convert and results in degradation of the video quality. Peform a screen capture then usa a photo editor such as Paint Shop Pro afterwards, use the photos in an avi editor. Dub over edited movie with a script and background music. Also used Paint Shop Pro, ArcSoft Video Editor, and Audacity audio editor in the production of this very short video. Use screenshots not a screen video cpature if have an older computer with little memory.
