I made a haku lei out of nuno felt but was not sure what to call it. Now I know so much more about leis - and that I made an almost authentic 'LEI PO' ! Thank you ! From Maryland and New York.

Since I live on Kauai I was able to gather ti leaves and plumeria. My lei turned out great, though my plumeria flowers are small as it's the end of the season. Had some difficulty wrapping the plumerias securely, but 99% of them stayed attached. Also had some difficulty tying a knot at the beginning and end of the leaves as they cracked and broke. I ended up using a rubber band to tie the end off. Overall it turned out great. This video was clear and concise.
