Cripes... how much poop is in that box!!! I think there is one unhappy cat in that home, they DO NOT like using a dirty toilet anymore than you or I do. Best plan is to scoop the waste solids every day and NOT let it build up. You wouldn't leave flushing your W.C. for a week would you????

I also use gloves & mask to prevent airborne particles from entering my lungs. too much bacteria near/inside the cat box. If you don't, make sure you wash hands thoroughly & use scrub brush under nails
