This video shows how to split triplets between the snare and the bass drum in a jazz situation. This pattern requires indipendence to play. Remember to always keep a quarter note pulse when you are playing this pattern. This can be done by using a metronome with the pattern so that it comes out smoothly. Start by practicing at a slow tempo, then work your speed up.
