    Wow, thanks man! I can't even tell you how helpful this was... I've never been able to use a flick wheel lighter before, despite being in my 20s! I am now slightly less lame, thanks to you.

    This is a n00b's tutorial, man! :D You can remove that metal n00b strip, "n00b child safety", by bending the two flaps then yanking it out. Always light it at a 45 degree angle, tip downward for shorter than 10 seconds, man. lol
