King Cake Recipe for Mardi Gras

King Cake is a Mardi Gras staple. This recipe, demonstrated by a twelve year old, is easy! Also known as 12th Night Cake it's actually more of a sweet bread. You will need 8 cups flour 2 tsp salt 6 eggs 1.5 cups sugar 2 sticks or butter & 1 stick Crisco shortening 2 cups scalded milk 4.5 tsp yeast warm water and about 5 hours
